Something different at last

Today I finally got see and help Geraldine with some of the administration of the stables. First I did the regular morning routine and in the afternoon I did some admin. Turns out it is really difficult to keep these stables running. You have to keep in touch with the clients, make sure there is plenty of food for the horses, plenty of sawdust to use as bedding for the horses. It's large amounts of money that go around in the horse business. That doesn't surprise me much though. Horses are expensive, they eat a lot, the bedding needs changing regularly, etc. I suppose she saves some of that money on her workforce. During the week it is just me and Abigail. She gets just 100 pounds a week and I work for free. We do get some of Geraldines friends to come over and help sometime, but I suppose they don't get any money for it either. Her earnings have been going down a bit. Ever since brexit started, she has lost a lot of clients. Must be really stressfull.
